Hotel – Area Revenue Manager

Career Vision Recruiters are seeking an analytical and strategic Area Revenue Manager to oversee revenue optimisation across multiple properties. The role focuses on maximising room revenue, managing distribution channels, and driving revenue growth across all hotel departments.

Location: Limerick/Tipperary
Reports to: Property General Manager and Group Commercial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Management & Optimisation

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximise room revenue across all segments.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to adjust rates effectively.
  • Optimise inventory and utilise revenue management systems for accurate forecasting.
  • Identify revenue opportunities across rooms, leisure, meetings & events, and F&B.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to track performance.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and operations for accurate forecasting.
  • Provide insights on booking patterns, segmentation, and distribution performance.

Distribution & Channel Management

  • Manage OTAs, GDS, direct bookings, and third-party platforms.
  • Ensure rate parity, availability accuracy, and consistent content.
  • Drive direct bookings via the company website and online promotions.
  • Work with digital marketing and e-commerce teams to enhance online performance.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Align revenue strategies with overall business goals alongside GM, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Train and guide teams on revenue management best practices.
  • Identify upselling, packaging, and promotional opportunities to boost revenue.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5 years in revenue management within hospitality.
  • Strong experience with OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
  • Deep understanding of pricing, market segmentation, and distribution management.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing for direct bookings.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Access to a car for travel
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
