Career Vision Recruiters, on behalf of our client, an award-winning boutique hotel in Co. Clare, is seeking an ambitious and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation across multiple outlets.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef with high-end luxury dining experience who is ready to take ownership, develop their own style and make a real name for themselves within a beautiful and highly regarded property.

Working closely with the wider management team, the Head Chef will have significant creative input into the food offering, standards and development of the kitchen. The role will suit a strong leader who enjoys being hands-on, developing people and delivering exceptional food and service.

The Role

The Head Chef will have responsibility for all food operations, including:

• Leading, mentoring and developing the kitchen team
• Maintaining consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service
• Menu development and seasonal specials
• Working closely with the onsite Kitchen Garden, collaborating with the gardener to maximise the use of fresh, seasonal produce
• Managing kitchen costs, stock, ordering and wastage
• Ensuring all HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards are maintained

We are looking for a chef who is:

• Ambitious, creative and passionate about food
• Experienced within high-end luxury hotels, restaurants or fine dining
• A confident and inspirational kitchen leader
• Comfortable overseeing multiple food outlets and service styles
• Hands-on and passionate about maintaining exceptional standards
• Creative with a strong understanding of seasonal and locally sourced produce
• Commercially aware with good knowledge of kitchen controls, GP and stock management
• Excited by the opportunity to develop menus and create a distinctive food offering
• A natural team player who enjoys developing and mentoring their brigade
