Career Vision Recruiters are currently looking for a passionate accommodation supervisor with great attention to detail in a luxurious property in Kerry. Working alongside Executive Housekeeper/Deputy Executive Housekeeper to ensure the best guest’s experience and the highest standard of cleanliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*To ensure that day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, cleanliness and condition of each area are carried out to the highest standards and are meeting designated standards – Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Corridors, Pantries, Public and Staff areas/laundry/self- checkers
*Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
*To ensure all special guest requests are noted and put in place on time
*Liaising and communicating with the front office team regarding room status (waiting rooms)
*Keep track of and ordering stationary, supplies and linen liaise with Manager
*Conduct inspection of guest rooms – departures, stayovers and vacant rooms to ensure that they have been serviced to agreed standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure
*Make sure your staff know who is supervising them daily
*Help staff with any needs/requirements they may have
*Make sure that their dedicated section is maintained to the highest standard conducting daily floor walk, checking cleanliness of public areas, turning off lights in unused pantries, rooms, fire exit doors, fire point doors and corridors to ensure standards are maintained
*Ensure pantries, trolleys and materials are kept clean, neat and tidy at all times daily checks required by supervisor
*Make sure that all hotel accommodation including but not limited to hotel bedrooms, public areas, stairs and corridors are presented to the highest standard of cleanliness and quality
*Report and make sure to follow up any maintenance defects or other issues
*To ensure extra duties are carried out, recorded and followed up on daily basis

REQUIREMENTS
*Previous experience of training and managing large team beneficial
*Previous accommodation and supervising experience in a hotel with good working knowledge of Hotsoft and Microsoft package advantage but not required
*Thorough understanding of the importance of Customer Experience and uncompromising standards of excellence
*High attention to detail with regards to cleanliness standards, cost, safety, presentation etc.
*Good organisational skills, problem solving and ability to prioritise and organise work assignments, delegate and check work
*Good level of spoken and written English is essential
