Career Vision Recruiters are seeking an experienced Accommodation Supervisor for a Four-Star Hotel Dublin. The Accommodation Supervisor will assistant the Accommodation Manager and be responsible for the smooth, efficient running of the Accommodation Department while on duty.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the accommodation department runs smoothly while on duty.
  • To ensure the cleanliness of bedrooms, corridors and public areas within the hotel are maintained to the desired standard of the hotel.
  • To ensure that all lost property is dealt with as per hotel policy.
  • To report all maintenance issues that arise within the department and ensure they are resolved through follow up.
  • To liaise with maintenance department to ensure the day-to-day maintenance of the property and bedrooms,
  • To liaise with reception and give updates on the availability of inspected bedrooms.
  • To liaise with other departments on an ongoing basis in a professional manner.
  • To handle customer complaints in a professional manner and according to hotel procedure.
  • To oversee the correct recycling procedures within the department and oversee the correct procedures of disposing of all waste e.g. cardboard, paper, plastics, tin cans.
  • To deal with staff issues and complaints when required.
  • To ensure all members of the accommodation team adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and practices.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience within an Accommodation Department at Supervisor level.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
