Main Duties:

To offer the highest level of guest service in the Bar, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product in addition to being aware of the total hotel facilities.
To lead the Bar team in ensuring that the Hotels standards are maintained and delivered at all times.
Train the team accordingly.
To effectively manage the costs and stock of the department, ensuring the achievement of a favourable GP.
To promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
To carry out a training needs analysis regularly ensuring that all training needs are met and that the team have the knowledge and the skills to carry out their duties competently.
To control and monitor staff whilst on duty, ensuring all duties are being carried out fully.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene and Licensing law.

The successful candidate must have:

Previous food and beverage management experience would be a distinct advantage.
Must be passionate about customer service and staff training.
Good hygiene practice skills.
Be legally entitled to work in Ireland without restrictions. A work permit (if required) will be requested.
