Career Vision Recruiters are recruiting a Deputy General Manager for a Luxury Property in Cork. The ideal candidate will be motivated, passionate, and self-motivated with exceptional experience of directing an F&B team to provide excellent service with a personal touch. May suit a very strong Food & Beverage Manager looking to take a step up.

Objective of the Role:

Reporting to and supporting the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager will lead the day-to-day operations for all areas of the hotel as well as motivating and leading all employees.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations
  • Ensure that all employees are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver excellence in service.
  • Ensure the best level of customer care within the property.
  • Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel.
  • To direct and manage all hotel activities
  • To maximise revenue, profitability and quality goals by developing and executing up-selling strategies and by providing quality service and products to all guests.
  • Deputise for the GM in their absence
  • Work with and lead the management team
  • Ensure financial targets are achieved
  • Foster an excellent working environment where customer focus is exceeded
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years in a similar role is preferential
