Career Vision Recruiters are recruiting a Deputy General Manager to join this new and exciting property due to be relaunched early 2023 after undergoing an extensive refurb, an exciting time to join the Senior Management team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, and self-motivated with exceptional experience of directing a team to provide excellent service with a personal touch. May suit a strong Operations Manager looking to take a step up. Strong experience in Rooms Division management an advantage.

Objective of the Role:

Reporting to and supporting the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager will lead the day to day operations for all areas of the hotel as well as motivating and leading all employees.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations
  • Ensure that all employees are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver excellence in service.
  • Ensure the best level of customer care within the property.
  • Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel.
  • To direct and manage all hotel activities
  • To maximise revenue, profitability and quality goals by developing and executing up-selling strategies and by providing quality service and products to all guests.
  • Deputise for the General Manager in their absence
  • Work with and lead the management team
  • Ensure financial targets are achieved
  • Foster an excellent working environment where customer focus is exceeded
