Our client a successful busy hotel in Galway require a hotel deputy manager or hotel manager to take over the running of this 150 plus bedroom hotel. The successful candidate will work and follow the lead of the General Manager, becoming an integral part of the business. The ability to provide a high level of customer service is essential for this role, along with the ability to create a positive first impression.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. It is essential that you have a proactive approach in your work, with the ability to problem solve. You will be responsible for the whole hotel, so the ability to use your initiative and make the right decisions on the spot is essential.

The successful candidate must be available from Monday to Sunday, with rosters dependent on hotel needs.

 

What you will need:

  • Previous experience in a Hotel Operations Manager Role in a hotel.
  • Excellent communication skills Knowledge of hotel systems/front office.
  • Be available to work 5/7 days.
  • Ability to take and give feedback and act upon it
  • Coach and lead a team to provide exceptional customer service. Drive a sense of teamwork
  • Have strong rooms division/front office skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative .
  • Ability to deal with conflict situations in a mature and proactive manner.
  • Have a real yes can attitude Financially astute and be aware of all costings
