The Duty Manager will oversee the running of key functions in the hotel, while leading the Team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the day to operations of the Hotel ensuring functions are set up correctly and on time and staff are prepared for the business of the day.

Providing on the floor support to the front-line team and being the face of the hotel when on shift.

Carry out any task asked of you within reason by Senior Management Team.

Ensure quality and standards are met consistently in line with company guidelines and S.O.P’s.

Anticipate guest needs and be a positive influence on the floor, leading from the front and providing excellent customer service to all guests.

Assisting with conference and banqueting service.

Completion of all duties on our Duty Manager Checklist and providing a detailed handover for the next Dm on shift.

Requirements:

Have previous supervisory experience within the Hotel or Hospitality Industry within a large and fast paced F&B oriented hotel.

Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Have a passion for working in the Hospitality Industry and be able to make a positive impact on the culture of the team through a positive can-do attitude.

Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike and be able to maintain a calm, cool and pleasant demeanour when under pressure.

Be a role model in regards to completion of duty’s and have excellent grooming and hygiene standards.

Must be an excellent communicator in written and spoken forms.
