Career Vision Recruiters are currently seeking experienced Events Manager for a deluxe hotel in South Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some great professionals and further your career. 

Job Purpose:

To build relationships with existing and new customers, planning and managing events calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with customers, assisting with event marketing, monitoring time~frames and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives. Previous experience essential.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

1) Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery

2) Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships

3) Managing supplier relationships

4) Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team

5) Up~selling of all company products and services in maximising profit potential

6) Giving input on activity and new ideas to generate revenue to the quarterly and annual sales and marketing plan.

7) Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project

8) Coordination of all meeting and events business, conferences and weddings

9) Conversion of potential business from sales enquiries including chasing and conversion of provisional bookings

10) Meeting potential and existing clients and complete showarounds of the hotel facilities.

11) Relationship building with existing and new customers

12) To ensure Hotel standards are adhered to

13) Communication throughout the Hotel including attendance and participation at agreed in house meetings

14) Preparation and issue of detailed and accurate weekly function sheets including detailed communication with all parties to ensure the successful operation of the perfect meeting, event or wedding

15) Assist the Sales team as required with such tasks as Telesales

16) Assist in the implementation and measurement of the Sales & marketing plan for the Hotel

17) To work with and support the Revenue Manager on achieving budgets in your sector
