We are currently seeking an Executive Head Chef who will build on our reputation by maintaining a talented and creative kitchen team, offering an innovative menu and promising an exceptional culinary experience. Maintain consistently high service standards, ensuring customer satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports the organisational values.

The Executive Head Chef will oversee the operational management of the kitchen and team members

Responsibilities include:
* Lead of the kitchen staff and ensure development of team members
* Create menus that meet and exceed customers’ needs and expectations
* Ensure offer of a balanced menu offering for staff menus
* Ensure that all food is produced in a timely and efficient manner and work closely
with the Food & Beverage team to ensure the highest standards of taste, quality and
presentation are achieved
* Resolve (promptly and completely) any issues that may arise in the kitchen or
related areas among customers and team members
* Manage department operations, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning
and waste management
* Manage all aspects of the kitchen including operational, quality and administrative
functions
* Ensure staffing levels are maintained to cover business demands
* Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures
* Comply with company security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food
safety legislation
* Ensure maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues are dealt with in a timely manner
* Responsible for ensuring that the working schedules are made and maintained and
timesheets are completed accurately and on time for payroll
* Create and implement plans to deliver sustainable changes for reductions in food
waste and greener efficiencies for the operations of the Kitchen.

The ideal candidate for this position:
* Will have previous experience in an Executive Head Chef role
* Must have previous experience in developing budgets and forecasts and managing food
costs
* Will be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer
service
* Must be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan
* Possess the ability to lead, multi-task and make sound decisions in a fast-paced
environment
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team
* Attention to detail and strong communication skills
* Work calmly under pressure and ability to problem solve
