Experienced HR Administrator

Career Vision Recruiters are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator for a busy 4* Hotel in Dublin. Hospitality experience and CIPD qualification is desired for this role.

 

The Role:

  • Assist the HR manager in all areas of the HR and Training function
  • To act as the first point of contact within the Human Resources Department for job applicants and employees
  • Give support and assistance in HR and training matters to employees
  • To take responsibility for the administration of the HR department and maintain accurate and professional records
  • To be actively involved in the delivery of employee training
  • Responsibility for the recruitment and selection process from initial advertising to final offer at operative level
  • Arrange and conduct interviews at operative level with Department Managers
  • Orientation of all new employee’s – responsibility for on boarding responsibilities
  • Off-boarding procedures for all employee’s
  • To ensure all documentation is prepared for Monday morning payroll
  • To be fully familiar of all policies as detailed in the staff hand book
  • Ensure that employee notice boards are updated with any relevant information
  • To assist the HR Manager in employee relations issues
  • Provide support to employees and department managers on any IR/HR issues
  • To be flexible and co-operative in the workplace so as to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the hotel

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in a HR assistant role, ideally in a Hotel or customer focused environment.
  • 3rd level qualification in HRM, CIPD qualification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of Irish Employment Law.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
