Reporting to the Director of Operations, our client is currently seeking applications for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager. They seek a manager that is thoroughly professional, well organised, and passionate about delivering world-class hospitality to their guests. 

About the role:

  • We are seeking a professional manager who will deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests. This will be conducted through effective leadership, financial awareness, business acumen and a foundation of previous experience.
  • The candidate will possess a passion for delivering above and beyond customer expectations, not only personally but as a team. The manager will ensure employees are properly trained on quality and 4* service standards and are empowered to carry out all job duties.
  • The food and beverage manager will identify areas for development for the departmental team leaders, supervisors and management, understanding the need for on the job coaching and feedback.
  • We seek someone with the creativity and knowledge to produce new and exciting offerings in Spencer’s outlets and is curious about current trends with food and beverage offerings in high-end establishments and with the resort’s competitors. This responsibility will be in conjunction with the head chef and senior hotel management.
  • Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. This responsibility will entail both recruitment and succession planning and require effective and creative solutions to perform.
  • The successful candidate must be able to deputise in the absence of senior management with professionalism and confidence in any requested duties.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • One years experience in a similar 5*/4*  property at Assistant F&B Manager or F&B Manager level
  • Excellent customer service and a friendly personality and manner
  • Ability to lead & direct performance of staff and follow up with constructive, mutually beneficial solutions when needed.
  • Ability to motivate staff and maintain a high performing team in a busy hotel environment.
