Food & Beverage Manager

Career Vision Recruiters are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Manager for a Busy 4* Hotel in County Offaly. As Food & Beverage Manager you will be responsible for the overseeing of all the food & beverage departments in the property and will report into the Senior Managers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the food & beverage service of this busy hotel property.
  • Managing the functions service of the property with the operations team.
  • Management of budgets and targets for the food & beverage departments of the property.
  • Manage and oversee the hiring, training, and performance of food and beverage service staff, including wait staff, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Driving sales initiatives for the food & beverage department – in conjunction with the hotels in-house sales team.
  • Work closely with the kitchen staff to develop menus, recipes, and food presentation that appeal to customers and meet financial targets.
  • Covering duty management shifts within the hotel property.
  • Working closely with the hotel’s management team on the day to day running of this busy property.
  • Ensuring excellent service is provided to all guests to the hotel’s bars, restaurants & events.

 

The Candidate:

  • Will have experience as F&B Manager in a busy operation, minimum 3* hotel.
  • The ability to manage department heads and experience in managing multiple outlets.
  • Sound knowledge and passion for food & beverage
  • Previous experience with KPI’s, budgets, stock control, and forecasting
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance.
  • To work alongside other HOD and maintain standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and delegate duties to the team.
  • Training and rostering of staff
