Career Vision Recruiters are looking for an experienced F&B Operation Manager for a luxurious property in Clare. Perfect opportunity for someone looking to take next step in their career.
Ideal candidate will be responsible for: –
Main Responsibilities
- To focus on raising standards of service and facilities within the food and beverage areas.
- To oversee all banqueting for Functions, Wedding and Christmas parties.
- Familiarisation with function sheets and assist with banquet room set-up for each function.
- To oversee and be involved in a hands-on capacity in the Fine Dining Restaurant, Private Dining and Golf & Country Club.
- To carry out Duty Management shifts.
- To be familiar with and monitor standards, grooming, product quality and hygiene in each department.
- To promote a high level of guest awareness within all departments.
- Maintaining a high level of “team ethos” between departments.
- To monitor levels of hygiene ensuring that a high standards are maintained.
- Maintains appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.
- To be aware of security procedures in the Hotel and adhere to same.
- To conduct ad hoc show-arounds of property when necessary.
- To assist in monthly stock-takes of Food and Beverage and stock is correctly valued.
Revenue/Sales Responsibilities
- Budget goals are attained.
- Make recommendations with respect to Food and Beverage promotions in order to and achieve on service delivery objectives, whilst optimising on sales.
- To encourage upselling within all F&B departments.
- Revenue and cost control are consistently utilized on all food and beverage in all departments.

Candidates need to meet the following criteria: –
- Have 3rd level qualification in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- He/she must have at least 3 years-experience within a four or five star Hotel/Property, especially in weddings & functions service.
- He/she must be self-motivated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a good ability to lead and motivate.
- Have strong organisational skills.
- A good “eye for fine detail” is essential.
