We at Career Vision Recruiters have an exciting opportunity has for a Head Chef of a Hotel in the Sligo area. This is also and ideal opportunity for current Sous Chefs looking to take a step up to Head Chef.

Do you possess the ability to work in a faced past environment? Are you able to display determination, flair & creativity? If so we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

* Keeping up to date with new products, recipes, preparation techniques and HACCP requirements.

* Responsible for all health and safety standards and food management systems (HACCP). Includes

knowledge of all procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, allergens, receiving

products, storage and sanitation.

* Responsible for management of all team members in the kitchen.

* Ensuring stock is properly rotated, products are ordered in time from our various suppliers, with

attention paid to stock levels.

Requirements

  • Extensive kitchen experience.
  • Ideal opportunity for a Sous Chef to take the next step up to head Chef.
  • Superior standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable and flexible in their approach to work
  • Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
