Career Vision Recruiters is currently seeking to recruit an experienced and innovative Head Chef to lead a professional and highly skilled kitchen team in a very busy property in Clare. If you have the relevant qualifications, and would like to develop your career within a busy and extremely popular property this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
We are looking for an ambitious, passionate, and driven Head Chef for a busy property. You will lead a team of food specialists and ensure that our food maintains the highest quality.
Duties will include:
- Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations.
- Liaising with the relevant companies for food orders.
- Creating new dishes and menus.
- Interviewing and hiring new staff.
- Maintaining/raising the food’s profit margins for your employer.
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
- Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
- Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
- Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.
You will need to have the following:
- Excellent culinary background required.
- Have excellent HACCP & hygiene awareness.
- Be able to work in all areas of the kitchen.
- Be able to work under pressure whilst also producing excellent cuisine.
- Confident working on your own initiative and also part of a successful team
- Have experience in a busy restaurant operation.
