Career Vision Recruiters are currently seeking applications for the role of Head Pastry Chef for a leading 5* property in Tipperary. This is a very exciting role for a Pastry Chef with experience leading and developing a team to the highest standards and an opportunity to work with some of the industries leading people.


What the role involves 

  • Menu development and costing etc
  • Fine dining, afternoon tea, banquets
  • Baking skills including breads and confectionary.
  • Monitor stock and waste control for the pastry section.
  • Training staff to a high standard to ensure the pastry section runs efficiently
  • Identify staffing needs within the pastry section.
  • Creating new ideas for customers that will be within keeping with the most current and popular food trends



  • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef coming from a great Hotel or high end Restaurant background
  • Innovative with the ability to create new & exciting dishes to a high standard.
  • Great attention to detail and creativity when it comes to the dishes being created.
  • A team player who has the ability to work alongside the team along with being able to delegate accordingly


Package Offers

  • Salary €50k to €60k
