This is an outstanding opportunity to take full leadership of a thriving, full-service hotel renowned for its strong food & beverage offering and exceptional reputation as a wedding and events destination. This role is ideally suited to an ambitious, hands on hospitality professional ready to take full ownership of operations, lead a high-performing team, and drive continued commercial success.

As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the overall performance and strategic direction of the hotel. You will ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while maximising revenue across all departments.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong commercial mindset, operational expertise, and a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
• Lead, motivate, and develop department heads and the wider team
• Drive revenue growth and profitability across rooms, food & beverage, and events
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and overall financial performance
• Maintain and enhance the hotel’s strong reputation within the local and national market
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company policies
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on growing the weddings and events segment

Requirements

• Proven experience within the hospitality sector
• Experience in a senior management role within a hotel environment, or a strong Operations/Deputy Manager ready to step up
• Demonstrated track record of delivering commercial results and managing hotel operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Must be currently living in Ireland with full right to work in the Republic of Ireland
