Human Resources Manager 

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager for an exciting leadership role within a deluxe property in Kildare. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, dedicated individual who will quickly take up a leadership role within the Hotel Team at a managerial level. As the HR Manager, you will provide support & guidance to the team across all spectrums of the HR function while effectively managing & developing our people. The role will be to assist in the development and delivery of human resource projects, plans and tactics that improve overall Organisational capability and performance.

The Role:

  • Responsibility for the overall strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department
  • To effectively manage the Human Resource function within the hotel, in line with the Company’s culture, mission statement and core values
  • To manage the Human Resource function in line with the Company’s policies and procedures including with respect to recruitment, selection, training, development, quality measures, health & safety, and employee relations and benefits
  • Deal with, or provide support, in relation to all employee queries, requests, welfare-related matters, grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring maximum satisfaction
  • Review weekly and monthly payroll
  • To maintain all documentation and personnel files/records safely, securely and confidentially, in accordance with Company and statutory obligations as appropriate
  • To develop the image of our Hotels as a good employer/great place to work

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 5+ years previous Human Resources/Facilities Management experience, in a large, branded 4/5-Star hotel or otherwise in the hospitality or a related industry
  • Have excellent people management skills and ability to communicate with and motivate the Team
  • Have thorough, up-to-date knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Be familiar with the TMS Time & Attendance system (Advance Systems)
  • Have previous experience of delivering training
  • Have a strong Health & Safety awareness, driving the focus on this important operational area within the properties
