Human Resources Manager

Career Vision Recruiters are seeking an experienced and people focused HR Manager  for this stunning Hotel property in Co. Mayo to support the continued growth of the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional who is passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture within a hospitality environment.

Working closely with senior leadership and departmental managers, the HR Manager will provide strategic and operational HR support across all areas of the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day HR function across the property.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and people initiatives aligned with the organisation’s values and business objectives.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-quality talent.
  • Oversee onboarding and induction programmes to ensure new employees have a positive start.
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Promote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
  • Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training programmes to support employee growth.
  • Support succession planning and talent development across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide reports and insights to senior management.
  • Manage employee benefits, leave administration, and HR systems.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing working environment.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ HR experience, including experience in hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations matters confidently and professionally.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
