We are currently recruiting an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join a well-established 4-star hotel in County Cork. This is a key leadership role for a hospitality professional with strong Food & Beverage expertise and a proven track record in hotel operations.

Role Overview

The Hotel Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experience, operational efficiency, and strong financial performance across all departments, with a particular focus on Food & Beverage operations.

You will work closely with senior management to drive service standards, team performance, and profitability while maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, and all F&B departments.
• Lead, manage, and motivate department heads and wider hotel team
• Take ownership of Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and events
• Drive revenue growth, cost control, and operational efficiencies
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service standards
• Manage staffing, training, and performance development
• Oversee compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior hotel operations role (4-star or above preferred)
• Strong and proven Food & Beverage management experience is essential
• Solid understanding of hotel financials, KPIs, and revenue management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Hands-on, proactive management style with attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak operational periods
