Career Vision Recruiters now have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to join a Michelin recommended restaurant in Clare. This is a hands-on role responsible for helping to build a strong, cohesive team focused on creating memorable experiences for each and every customer.
Main Duties:
*Interview, select, train, restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet.
*Organize and conduct daily briefings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as bookings and menu changes.
*Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
*Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
*Move throughout the facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
*Give guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency.
*Maintain profitability of the restaurant. Control payroll and equipment costs (minimizing loss and misuse).
*Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation.
*Develop and implement cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures.
*Ensure adequate staffing levels for anticipated business during shift.
*Coach staff to adhere to outlet service standards.
*Monthly Departmental Reports such as, Upselling Report, Menu Engineering Report, Stock Take, Equipment Inventory, Average Cheque Report.
*Comply with and implement all Performance Excellence Initiatives as identified in Performance Excellence Plan.
*Conduct competitive research and report trends and recommendations.

Minimum requirements
*Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
*Hospitality Management Degree beneficial.
*Minimum three years of previous Restaurant Management experience and a total of five years experience in a 4 or 5 star Hotel.
*Ability to effectively communicate in English, excellent written, verbal and organisational skills.
*Must be able to multi task and be very detail orientated.
*Must have excellent knowledge of computers.
*Must have previous experience of administration work and report writing.
