Career Vision Recruiters are looking to recruit an experienced Restaurant Supervisor for a well-known Award Winning Gastro Pub in West Dublin. As Restaurant Supervisor you will lead, support, and navigate the team to create an intimate and high-quality dining experience for the guests. You will demonstrate excellent team management skills and support the organisation of the restaurant’s day-to-day business, to ensure that our customers have the best experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Restaurant ensuring all guest requests are met, on time.
  • Create a memorable experience for our guests and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that the quality of food offering is consistently delivered
  • Support the Manager and Assistant Manager in operational duties.
  • Assisting in training new employees
  • Responsible for opening and closing the restaurant
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • You will be required to work 39 hour week over 4 days
  • Bar, Beer and Cocktail knowledge desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Transport is required for this position
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to motivate staff members
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Have experience with ResDiary, Word and Excel
  • Have the ability to work under pressure
  • have excellent English language skills

We are looking for someone who a proven track record in a similar position, very hands on, leads by example with the ability to motivate a team. We need someone who is flexible with working hours, available to work both late and early shifts.
