Our client is looking to recruit Tender Specialist to manage various high level tender submissions. This role will be based in their head office and you will report directly into the Group GM/Operations Director. Excellent salary for the chosen candidate

The ideal candidate will manage, contribute, develop and oversee the preparation and submission of all tenders for new business.

The role will involve:

  • Preparing tenders and standardised tender templates and documentation.
  • Developing the bid and tender strategy
  • Prepare initial tender documentation and coordinate obtaining the required approvals
  • Maintain a list of qualified vendors, especially as related to planned tenders
  • Compilation of various input to create a more complete tender proposal
  • Monitoring deadlines
  • Evaluation and contract negotiation
  • Liaises with the User Department on an ongoing basis with respect to Tender requirements and Tender status
  • Corresponds with vendors in conjunction with the tender process as required, ie, non-disclosure agreements, confirmation of interest, etc
  • Preparing, writing and submitting of Tender Documentation Packages
  • Assemble and maintain internal Procurement documentation relating to the tendering process, including recording management approval relating to tendering and contracting actions.
  • Maintains tender files and arranges their archiving upon Tender completion
  • Prepare Tender status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis
  • Prepare correspondences to internal departments, bidders and contractors
  • Follow through successful acquisitions to completion

Requirements:

  • Experience in Tender processes – RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s
  • Procurement Contracting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of local business practices and legal processes
  • Demonstrate ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

**Creative writing and hospitality background or awareness would be a bonus**
